Welcome! It takes a lot of courage to seek out support and you have taken the first step. It’s important to have a connection with the therapist and make sure it’s a “right fit” for you. My intention is to support you on your journey to wellness and develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals.
I consider my approach to be non-judgmental, evidence-based, compassionate, and treating the whole person rather than just the individual symptoms. For the last 18 years I have worked in the social services sector and for over a decade I have worked in a therapeutic capacity in various roles that focused on counselling and assessment skills.
My work is a collection of approaches; I like to think of them as my “toolbox” that has the capacity to support the mind and body towards healing.
I am passionate about mental health, and my goal is supporting individuals wanting to live their best life! What I find inspirational about my work is seeing people achieve their goals.
I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
